What a Certificate of Good Standing is

A Certificate of Good Standing is an official document, typically issued by Companies House, confirming that a company is legally registered, up to date with its filings, and not struck off or dissolved. Banks, authorities and business partners abroad may ask for one. On notarity, it comes on an express timeline, notarised by a partner notary in the UK, with the paper apostille arranged for you.

Need both?

Certificate of Good Standing and Articles of Association as a set

If the recipient also wants the company's certified Articles of Association, book both together as one express set, notarised and with the paper apostille. A Certificate of Good Standing can also confirm that an individual professional, such as a solicitor, is registered with their regulator: describe what you need when you book.

  3. Notarised and apostilled

The partner notary notarises the document, and it gets a UK paper apostille from the FCDO, the UK authority that issues them.
