What the FNMT certificate is

The FNMT certificate is the digital certificate of Spain's Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre. With it, you identify yourself and sign online with Spanish public authorities. The signature on the application form has to be notarised: a partner notary on the notarity platform does that by video call, and the FNMT then needs the notarised form as a physical hard copy. Firms that help foreign clients get a Spanish digital certificate use this most often.

Hard copy

Order the hard copy when you book

The FNMT always requires a physical hard copy of the notarised form, with the notary's wet-ink signature, stamp and seal. It can be sent to any address worldwide.
