Verify your Identity

Depending on the country for which you book the online notary appointment, different methods are available to verify your identity. 

You will need a valid identity document (passport or EU identity card)

Online video appointment

You will be connected to your notary via a secure video conference on app.notarity.com, who will verify your identity and guide you through the signing of the required documents.

Once the appointment is complete, you can view and download your notarised documents anytime directly from the notarity platform.

Receive documents

You can download the digital documents shortly after completing the appointment. 

If you require a paper version of your documents, these can be sent to any address.

Appointments for online notarisation can be booked at short notice & with just a few minutes' notice. Appointments are available on weekdays between 7 am and 9 pm as standard. Appointments can also be made outside these times by arrangement.

Via notarity, the certification of signatures on documents of all kinds is possible with our partner notaries. 

The documents on which you want to have your signature notarised can be in any language.

The certification clause by our partner notaries can be drawn up in German or English as standard. Upon request, our partner notaries can also prepare a certification clause in any other language.

The certified document may in principle used worldwide become.

We also offer a service for obtaining an apostille promptly. With such an apostille, the notarised power of attorney can be used internationally in all contracting states of the Hague Convention.

We cannot guarantee that documents notarised online will be accepted by all receiving offices. If in doubt, we advise you to clarify acceptance with the receiving office beforehand.

Yes, this is possible. Please indicate this when booking your appointment. Obtaining the apostille usually only takes a few minutes after the online notarisation appointment. The apostille is always obtained on a physical copy of the notarised document. The document is then sent via mail to an address of your choice.
