Frequently asked questions

Appointments for online notarisation can be booked at short notice & with just a few minutes' notice. Appointments are available on weekdays between 7 am and 10 pm as standard. Appointments can also be made outside these times by arrangement.

In principle, the original of the power of attorney is the PDF document which is digitally signed at the online notary appointment. If desired, a physical copy can also be made as a paper document and sent by post to an address of your choice.

The power of attorney may in principle used worldwide be notarised. We recommend that you always discuss the use of an online notarised power of attorney with your legal advisor beforehand. 

We also offer a service for obtaining an apostille promptly. With such an apostille, the notarised power of attorney can be used internationally in all contracting states of the Hague Convention.

Yes, this is possible. Please indicate this when booking the power of attorney. Obtaining the apostille usually only takes a few minutes after the appointment.
