The documents on which you have your signature notarized at our partner notaries' offices can be used almost anywhere in the world.

Are online notarizations / notarial acts legal?

Yes, in Austria almost all notarizations of signatures and notarial deeds can also be processed online. This does not apply to testamentary dispositions (wills).

Can I also make use of digital notary appointments from abroad?

Yes, you can use notarity from anywhere and at any time. No geographical restrictions apply to you.

notarity has a network of Austrian & Swedish partner notaries. Our partner notaries are experienced and trained in the use of notarity and digital services.

How does an online notary appointment via notarity work?

A digital notarial appointment takes place in the course of a video call in which you are connected live with one of our partner notaries and sign documents using a qualified electronic signature.

When will I receive the finished documents?

After the notarization of a signature or the drawing up of a notarial deed, the partner notary still has to finish processing the documents. The finished document is then available a short time after the appointment.
